 SALES COORDINATOR

The Homewood Suites Riverwalk, a leader in the hospitality industry,  is currently seeking a  Sales Coordinator to join their sales team.

This position will support all aspects of  our Sales team  and will report directly to Director of Sales. Duties and responsibilities include booking meetings and processing group and catering contracts, obtaining new business and managing existing key business accounts, conducting property tours, participating in revenue-generating activities and events, assisting in developing promotional material, on-going communication with the General Manager and Director of Sales to include weekly sales and revenue meetings, developing action plans and maintaining sales activity logs.

* Previous experience in the hotel industry preferred, but not required.
* Ability to solicit, qualify, and secure business while maintaining customer focus and integrity.
* Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
* Basic computer skills required, including internet proficiency.
* Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook software knowledge required
* Individual should also be very tech savvy.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
