Davidson Hotel & Resorts is searching for a highly motivated individual with extensive hotel Director of Sales experience to lead and direct the efforts of the Sales & Catering Team. Located less than 2 miles from Washington, DC and only 5 miles from Washington Reagan National Airport-DCA, and just one block to the DC METRO Service with direct links to the major Washington DC Area Attractions. Visitors can experience the city from the convenience of their hotel in Arlington, VA. As a Director of Sales and Marketing you are responsible for driving of total revenues for the hotel to increase REVPAR and gain marketshare through proper direction of the sales, catering, and reservations departments. Responsibilities include direction and training of the Sales and Catering Team; preparation of annual budgets; positioning of hotel within the competitive set through proper pricing; maximizing revenue through aggressive yield strategies; developing and maintaining relationships with clients; contributing to the group booking production and developing and implementing all marketing and public relations efforts.
