City Gourmet Group has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional.  This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of the kitchen at CGG.  This position focuses on menu development, client satisfaction and customer service. Applicant must be efficient in cost effective management and must meet and exceed stated expectations. You will be responsible for all foodservice related activities which includes managing daily operation of the kitchen, implementing the production process, managing food and labor costs and developing event menus. Candidate must be creative and innovative, able to think "outside the box" and excited to develop award winning food and design. Responsible for developing, mentoring and coaching internal associates.   Great growth potential for the right person.  
 

*minimum of 3-5 years progressive culinary/management experience 
*extensive catering experience with a comprehensive knowledge of food and catering tends with focus on quality, production, sanitation and presentation
*Must have off-premise catering experience

* Able to train, monitor and motivate kitchen team to push themselves for efficiency, culinary excellence and profitablity

*must be able to show cost control ability
*excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
*strong verbal, written and communication skills
*have strong computer skills
