PAINTED DESERT GOLF CLUB
The course, built in 1987, winds through neighborhoods in northwest Las Vegas and meanders over and around sections of desert areas. Add in risk/reward golf holes, true rolling greens and elevation changes and you've got a golf course that will test even the best players.
The Jay Morrish design reaches 6,729 yards from the tips, but three sets of tees welcome players of every ability to tee it up. But what the course may lack in distance, it more than makes up for in challenge. Narrow fairways require pin-point accuracy off the tee, as errant shots can/will find their way into the desert landscaping.
 

POSTION SUMMARY
The General Manager will over see all the general and customary operating departments of this Club. This position will also require a strong emphasis on the management of the food and beverage operation. The Manager must possess outstanding people skills, present a professional appearance, and possess strong business acumen. Club would prefer the candidate to have at least three years experience as the General Manager of a similar facility and require the candidate have at least four years experience as the Food and Beverage Manager or similar operation. A college degree and CCM distinction would also be preferred.

COMPENSATION

There is an excellent base salary (based on experience) for this position and a bonus potential available based on predetermined financial goals and objectives. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Four year college degree preferred.
• PGA member preferred.
• Continuing education training through PGA or CMAA.
• Prior management experience in golf industry required.
• Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Able to perform all duties necessary to accomplish club objectives.
• Able to delegate responsibilities.
• Able to develop, lead and manage a team.
• Computer literate with accurate typing skills.
• Able to perform arithmetic computations for budgeting and cost analysis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
• Some repetitive motion required including typing and data entry.
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping may be required.
• Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
• Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
