Overview

We are a small, high-growth company which provides software and reservation center services to the golf industry.  We are looking for someone to answer calls and book tee times out of our client’s offices in north Scottsdale.

Position

Part-time, 25-30 hours a week (Monday – Friday/normal business hours), reservation center agent that answers calls and books tee times using our software.  The position pays $10/hour.  Our client is a golf management company with quality golf courses in multiple states.    

Any candidate must be able to commute to our offices in north Scottsdale, AZ on a daily basis.

Characteristics of a Strong Candidate

A candidate for this position should be pleasant, helpful, trainable and reliable.  It is important that this individual has good grammar skills, good speaking skills and presents themselves in a professional manner.   Some knowledge of golf would help but is not necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interacting by phone with the golfer in a friendly, helpful manner.
  • Interacting by phone with the golf shop employees in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Be able to follow the reservation protocol on every call.
Skills and Specifications
  • Great verbal communication skills as well as ability to work with others.
  • Good keyboard skills and impressive telephone etiquette.
  • Strong written skills.
  • High level of comfort using software applications.
Education and Qualifications
  • Experience in golf industry a plus.
  • Reservation center experience a plus.
  • Customer service background also a plus.
