To increase profits by increasing room sales and generating business through aggressive sales efforts, discretion and judgment. Through independent sales efforts, this position affects business operations and profitability. Has discretionary ability to manage rates, product lines, and commits operational hotel departments.
* Sells all product lines of the hotel including catering, rooms, packages, lounge and restaurant promotions.
* Promote sales in their established markets through telephone solicitation and outside sales calls, re-booking repeat business.
* Have a basic knowledge of local and national trends regarding business and competition strategies.
* Have a working knowledge of all systems, reports, room capabilities.
* Work with a catering partner to insure proper servicing of all accounts.
Participates in the following:
*Daily Sales/Catering Department meetings
*Saturday office coverage

* 2 years previous hotel rooms sales experience
* Aggressive, outgoing personality necessary
* Proven record of independent, self-motivated work habits required
* Knowledge of local and national trends regarding business and competition strategies.

Must have flexible availability and be able to work the hours as dictated by business levels
