The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Housekeeping in managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms and offices. 

  • Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner

  • Manage daily systems use, department management, and policy and procedure implementation and enforcement.  

  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

  • Oversee and conduct room inspections

  • Assist in the recruitment and training of team members

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years Housekeeping Supervisory experience required. Hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Proficient in all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).  OnQ experience a plus.
• Detail oriented, able to articulate clearly and fluently and strong communication skills required
