Position: Telecommunications Operator

Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for receiving and redirecting all external and internal telephone phone calls. Performs the following functions: answering incoming/in-house phone lines, directing calls and/or taking messages, coordinating communication among hotel personnel, assisting guests in completing outside calls, receiving and performing wake-up calls for guests.

Required Skills and Experience:

 

*High School Diploma or equivalent
*One + years high volume call center and/or switchboard experience with previous hotel property management system experience a plus
*Excellent telephone and guest service skills
*Knowledge of radio dispatch procedures
*Ability to operate computers and basic office equipment
*Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
