We currently have an opening for a Director of Sales and Marketing for our beautiful Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay in Kailua-Kona, HI. Our resort, which just went through a 16 million dollar renovation, has 521 guest rooms and over 17,000 square feet of meeting space!
The ideal candidate for this role will lead and manage the Sales and Marketing team ensuring a high level of professionalism, guest service and profitability. Develop business leads, solicit potential clients, service existing accounts, sell all hotel facilities, target business in assigned market segment and meet and exceed sales goals for rate, occupancy and revenue. Our Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for attaining budgeted revenues for the Hotel; responsible for all marketing related activity, including internet marketing, advertising and public relations. He/She will work with the Regional Director of Sales and Sales and Catering Teams to ensure revenue goals are met. They will also accountable for our International segment of Sales. The Director of Sales and Marketing will consistently perform our standards of service, interact with guests, clients and all hotel team members in a professional manner and have a "Yes I Can" attitude.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong skill set in both marketing and direct sales. She/he will have a proven successful track record in sales and marketing in a large hotel/resort or 2 smaller hotels combined. Previous Director of Sales and Marketing experience in the Hospitality Industry required. Dynamic relationship with a Marketing agency and PR agencies desired. Delphi and Excel experience preferred. Starwood/Sheraton Family of brands a plus. Resort experience required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience required.
