Transportation Manager

A dynamic hospitality company located in NYC (1000+ employees) is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in creating first class customer experiences by ensuring prompt and efficient handling of all parking logistics, guests/employee relations and any additional facility needs by providing optimum service levels to parking users (visitors, employees, vendors, etc.).

This facility includes high volume Valet parking, a paid parking garage, free parking, shuttle busses and company car services. We are looking for someone with a background of at least 5 years in parking and/or hospitality.

Ideal candidate:

• Five (5) years related experience in a high volume parking and/or hospitality industry required.
• Resourceful and cooperative attitude; service-oriented, displaying strong competency to work with internal and external customers.
• Solution-oriented from a service industry perspective and strong sense of urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work across functional areas and levels of the organization.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills. Comfort with data and computer applications essential.
• Ability to work long hours including weekends and holidays on a regular basis required.
• Must maintain a high quality property appearance at all times and ensure impeccable service.
