The Grand Geneva Resort located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, just 60 minutes outside of Milwaukee and 90 minutes from downtown Chicago is not only known for it's fine accommodations, golf courses, and 1300 acres of picturesque grounds, but it is also known for offering some of the finest and most successful restaurant operations & outlets in the greater Chicago/Milwaukee markets.

We are looking for a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to join the Executive team! This position is responsible for overseeing 8 F&B outlets, Culinary, as well as the Banquet operations around the resort. This role requires someone that provides strong leadership to a large, diverse management team and who can lead by example. This person will play a significant role in the service recovery process - not only from ensuring the guest experience is extraordinary, but from a learning standpoint for the associate as well.

 

 

Qualified candidates will bring previous Director of F&B experience, those with experience in a luxury resort setting will be given preference. Must be in tune with what is currently trending in the world of food & beverage. The ideal person will have a strategic mind and be visible in all areas of the resort.

  • Strong wine knowledge
  • Sharp financial mind with the ability to forecast, read, analyze, and discuss financial statements.
  • Working knowledge of outlet operations & culinary
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
  • High degree of professionalism & integrity
  • Proven success in overseeing a large banquet operation
  • Degree in hotel/restaurant/hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, & holidays
