Sales Coordinator
Ocean Properties has an opening for a highly-motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual in our regional sales office in Portsmouth, NH. The Sales Coordinator acts as the glue to the department and must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate well with associates and clients. This individual should be a self-starter that is able to work well independently as well as with a team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and who is looking for a career in hotel sales and catering.
Overall Responsibilities Include:
Creating documentation for sales managers including contracts, invitations, thank you letters, and sales kits
Answering and qualifying all incoming sales phone calls
Organizing sales blitzes and other annual sales events
Ordering supplies and collateral
Generating and analyzing sales and catering reports as requested
Assist in administrating Delphi sales software and other property management systems
Create promotional handouts using Microsoft Publisher
Assist with annual sales and marketing plans
Handle incoming/outgoing mail including UPS, FedEx shipments
General administrative office duties
Assist sales managers as needed
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
Possess clear, concise written and oral communication skills
Must have a friendly and pleasant phone demeanor
Must be able to think quickly and handle all inquiries and questions with ease
Strong customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Have the ability to analyze report data

CI/TY
Opera
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Powerpoint
Ideal candidates should be familiar with some (if not all) of the systems listed above. Training will be provided.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Hospitality Management degree beneficial
