The Excelsior, Hong Kong invites applications for the position:
Major Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate with the service Manager/Asst. Head Waiter regarding function room set up
* Check attendance of assigned staff
* Inform Engineering to switch on air-condition 1 hour prior to the function
* Conduct pre-service check on room table, side station and signboard
* Supervise sevice, ensuring standards are met
* Supervise table cleaning to reduce breakage
* Check and read the menu
* Present check and upon guest request
* Handle complaints and notify to the manager on duty if necessary
* Ensure the function room is kept in a clean and neat condition after functions
Job Requirements:
* Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
* Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
* Initiative and good customer service skills
* With relevant experience preferred
