Corporate & Social Catering Sales
Location: US - MA - Woburn
We are seeking an experienced, self motivated, energetic and creative sales star with 5+ years experience in catering sales in the Boston area. This role would be selling both social and corporate events, as well as selling our successful daily delivery business.
Position Responsibilities:
Secure new clients through prospecting and new business development; including daily phone calls to assigned territories
Manage relationships with venues and locations and secure events through these relationships
Generate menus and cost proposals for clients, conduct tastings and issue contracts
Manage client's events and orders from booking to production
Work with clients to make sure catering requests and expectations are met; up-sell services and products to maximize revenue potential for each event
Attend sold events to ensure client is satisfied and to prospect new clients.
Attend networking and industry events.
Continual follow-up with clients to build customer loyalty
Prepare required sales reports and meet monthly sales goals
Required Skills and Qualities:
Positive attitude, enjoys customer interaction, and loves selling and building relationships
Strong working knowledge of off-premise catering and food & beverage
Demonstrated ability to plan successful events
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel; Caterease knowledge a plus.
Superior information and detail management skills
Highly organized, detailed and task oriented
Pleasant communication skills
Works both independently and with a team
