Currently we are looking for a top performing Director of Sales to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that will achieve revenue goals for our beautiful Aloft Hotel Phoenix Airport.
Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Director of Sales include:
Develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed the hotel's revenue plan
Lead, motivate, and coach the hotel sales team
Actively solicit, negotiate, and secure new business to achieve revenue plan
Develop and manage the sales department budget
Monitor sales activities/performance to achieve revenue plan
Execute reports in an accurate, timely manner
Develop teamwork in sales department and all departments
Participate in weekly revenue maximization meetings

Job Requirements:
Qualifications/Attributes
Must have minimum of 3 years hotel sales experience with prior success in the corporate market.
Starwood experience a plus
Possess strong leadership skills, strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, planning and organizational ability, and a "High Touch" customer service attitude.
Able to define market segmentations and pricing strategies to maximize hotel revenue.
