Job Description:

* Ensure every guest is greeted and welcomed on arrival
* Register guests to the hotel, verifying reservation, address, email address and credit information.
* Promote the Starwood Preferred Guest Program providing recognition and benefits to all present members and describe member benefits to non members with the goal of enrollment
* Book reservations for those guests who approach the Front Desk
* Accept payment for guests' accounts at the time of registration and at checkout
* Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily
* Process all re:fuel (grab n go food and beverage) items and retail transactions for the guest
* Responsible for assisting in restocking and assuring overall cleanliness of re:fuel (grab n go) and re:mix (lobby)
* Focus on exceeding guest expectations and be the type of team player that will help create a fun, energized and comfortable working environment

 

* Must possess a friendly, hospitable customer service oriented attitude
* At least one year of customer service experience
* Must possess good effective and efficient communication skills (verbal and written)
* Must possess basic computer, mathmatical and cash handling skills
* Be able to stand for long periods of time, eight hours or more
* Be able to lift up to 15-25lbs.
* Must have open availability to work any scheduled shift/day including holidays and weekends
* Must have reliable transportation
