Director of Finance

We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Finance to oversee and direct the accounting functions of a well-established Central California hospitality company with multiple assets.  This person will direct and oversee the company’s entire accounting and reporting functions.  Provide effective leadership to ensure complete accountability for financial and overall Accounting Department performance.  Coordinate annual budget preparation and monthly forecast with GM.  Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.  Results oriented with an emphasis on both individual and team accountability.  Annual salary $85K to $115K plus incentives.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing management with a complete financial analysis of the operating entities, including the design, development and implementation of field-based systems and controls and overseeing all financial and reporting functions, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, tax, audit, treasury, insurance, and financial planning.  The position will assist in the preparation and management of the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and provide technical and analytical guidance in identifying and solving problems and issues. 

Must have 5+ years of successful experience as a Controller or DOF of a mid-size full-service resort with ample amenities.  Must have experience with start-ups and establishing new accounting office systems and procedures.  Must have excellent communication, time management and organization skills.  Must have personal integrity and exemplary ethical standards.  Must be results-oriented with strong orientation to quality, accuracy and timeliness.  Must be able to set clear goals, provide feedback/coaching, monitor performance and evaluate results.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products, Quickbooks and Micros.  Must have Bachelor Degree  in Accounting or Finance.  Flexible work schedule.
