The SpringHill Suites in Warrenville, IL is currently in search of a positive, hard working, aggressive, energetic, creative, and highly motivated Group Sales Manager to join our award winning airport hotel.
The Sales Manager will solicit and service major accounts within the market, while managing the day to day sales efforts ensuring that all sales goals are met and exceeded consistently.
This person will assist in developing, implementing, monitoring and controlling contracts for both local and national accounts; analyzes competition, market trends and customer needs.
Candidates must be able to build solid business relationships with local businesses and find creative ways of attracting and retaining groups while generating revenue.
GroQualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience with a proven track record of successful sales and revenue generating history.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, responsive, can multi task and be able to maintain good customer rapport.
This person will also have proven leadership skills, be computer literate, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of Hotel SalesPro and IHG systems are also preferred.
A degree in hospitality or business management is a plus.
