Job Description:	Centerplate, a Volume Services America company, is one of North America's largest providers of quality food and beverage, catering, merchandise and facility management services for many of America's best-known sports, convention and entertainment venues. "Craveable Experiences. Raveable Results." We are currently seeking a General Manager for Lancaster Barnstormers at Clipper Magazine Stadium, located in Lancaster, PA. The Lancaster Barnstormers are a member of the Freedom Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Clipper Magazine Stadium offers 6000 seats and lawn seating up to 1500 as well as a true "taste of Lancaster", full range of family friendly features and attractions including "picnic in the power alley options", executive suites and a fantastic amusement area for kids of all ages. The ballpark also serves as a multipurpose facility by accommodating other sporting events as well as concerts, meetings, conferences, holiday parties, etc. The General Manager will be responsible for all catering, concessions, restaurant operations and merchandising. Duties of the General Manager include, but are not limited to: * Maximizing revenue * Setting and achieving the operational goals of the facility * Maintaining current business levels while seeking new opportunities * Working with clients to ensure profitability and guest satisfaction * Hiring, training, and developing management and team members
Job Requirements:	Job Requirements: * Candidate must have at least 5 years management (General Management) experience in high volume Concessions and Merchandise setting * Previous experience in a Stadium Arena or similar type venue environment * Must be a hands-on self starter that can creatively teach and lead a team in this exciting, fun and family friendly environment * Must be a true people person and have be able to relate to all levels of associates, clients in this environment *Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes irregular hours and weekends * Experience in managing the operations of catering, banquets and retail outlets * Strong organizational, leadership, and human resources/development skills * Financial Management - Mastery in managing Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, and financial analysis. * Must have experience in managing within a diverse environment with a focus on customer service.
