General Manager - Holiday Inn Express Flagstaff, AZ

We seek a General Manager for our 155 room Holiday Inn Express in Flagstaff, AZ. The training and expertise provided by our experienced team of leaders coupled with a performance-based bonus plan which will reward high achievement will provide our GM with a rare opportunity for professional and financial growth.

The General Manager will:

* Serve as Coach and Leader of the hotel exemplifying guest service levels.

* Accomplish hotel human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and maintaining values, policies & procedures, implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies.

* Develop hotel financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.

* Promote the hotel by helping develop and implementing advertising, sales, and new marketing ideas; having an active role in the community and involvement in tourism business affairs.

* Maintain the hotel's stature by inspecting guests' rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and order; verifying the quality of breakfast services.

* Maintain customer confidence by personally responding to and resolving complaints.

Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will have:

* 5 or more years of progressive, demonstrated success as the General Manager of one or more Intercontinental, Hilton or Marriott select service brand properties.

* Demonstrated experience in ramp-up and sales activities.

* Ability to lead a high performance team in an autonomous environment.

* College Degree Preferred with degree in hospitality a plus
