Job Description

The Extended Stay Division of Westmont Hospitality Group is currently accepting resumes for a Regional Revenue Manager/E-Commerce Specialist within their Extended Stay Hotel portfolio.

The primary purpose of this position is to monitor business thresholds within the five-year forecast to ensure measurable improvements for demand and availability. Supply critical analysis on the effect of short range decisions effecting occupancy, average rates, and rooms profit goals. Analysis of city events and activities and to project the effect of opportunities they create. Monitor competitive analysis. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of regional strategies for meeting goals in the areas of revenue generation, market share performance, and booking generated from third party internet companies and online travel agencies.

 

The selected candidates must possess the following:

  • High ethical standards, analytical ability, excellent communicator
  • Diverse experiences in sales, revenue management and administration, negotiating and loading rates with third party internet companies and online travel agencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer, internet, and technology

Additional Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining inventory controls with TPI and OTA accounts:

  • Review and implementation of room accommodation and rate inventory controls in property Revenue Management systems
  • Ensure TPI and OTA inventory and cut-off dates are managed according to demand.
  • Maintain forecasts & Budgets for regional properties.
  • Make sales calls to our top ten TPI and OTA accounts.

 

 

Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies:

  • Conduct a weekly Revenue Management Meeting where the appropriate booking period is evaluated for proper rate and availability control. The Regional Revenue Manager will provide a synopsis of results vs. decision from the previous week and lead discussion on future issues such as booking pace, pricing strategies, marketing opportunities, and the competitive environment.
  • Develop annual transient & extended stay pricing. Ensure pricing in consistent in all distribution channels.

 

Review and distribute incentive programs with General Managers, Operations team, and,  Front Office, with particular focus on need periods.

 

  • Assist hotel management and teams in successful completion of all goals, plans, and reports.
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics, and demand factors


*Review end of month rooms statistics reports including and provide critical analysis on performance vs. forecasts and results of implemented strategies
 

Conduct displacement analysis of business, as needed, to determine impact potential business will have on RevPAR.

  • Complete weekly booking pace reports and analysis on pace, recommending strategy changes when needed.
  • Analyze past and present trends and make recommendations for future strategies.

 

Forecasting:

  • Prepare (where necessary) all Weekly, Monthly, Rolling Forecasts and Annual Budget

Competitive and Demand Analysis:

  • Review all competitive shops on a consistent basis and identify selling strategies and market trends.
  • Review Demand calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators.
  • Develop short term action plans and long range planning for new programs and strategies that impact the hotels based on the existing corporate directed goals and any new goals that are created.
  • Provide day to day support to assigned group of hotels
  • Travel is required 25 -30% of the time. Individual property visits to each hotel. Maintain accurate records of these visits with particular attention to follow up required, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned by Director of Operations

 

Job Requirements

The following requirements of this position will include but will not be limited to:

  • Minimum of three years Multi Unit experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and develop others
  • Reside in or relocate to regional location (Orlando, Atlanta)
