As a Director of Revenue Management you will work closely with the General Manager and Director of Sales to formulate market segment forecasts and apply revenue management techniques for wholesale, transient and group business. This key position will be responsible for development and management of revenue/yield strategies including pricing, demand analysis as well as inventory management and tactics. This position requires someone with a deep understanding of the hotel industry. The position also requires someone who has the ability to set pricing and support revenue management strategies and decisions. The scope of the position includes, but is not limited to:

* Perform daily review and analysis of inventory and rates, then identify and implement appropriate revenue strategies         based upon those daily analysis.
* Analyze the external marketplace, customer demand and competitor offerings to ensure proper price competitiveness within the industry.
* Develop daily, weekly, and monthly occupancy and revenue forecasts.
* Develop measurement techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of revenue management strategies and decisions.
* Maintain high level of knowledge about our competition and their product offerings.
* Develop and maintain partnerships/relationships with key third-party business partners.

Candidate must have 3-4 years revenue management experience

High School Diploma required, College degree preferred.

Starwood Hotels, Sheraton Brand experience preferred.

Strong analytical skills required and ability to apply those skills to identify revenue opportunities and

shortfalls.

Effective communication skills, both verbally and written.

Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals.

Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidate will have following experience:

  • Leisure background to include FIT/Wholesale
  • Strong third party channel management 
  • Online marketing experience
  • Previous remote, area or regional working environment
