The Marriott Teaneck at Glenpointe seeks self-motivated enthusiastic professional sales person to sell guestrooms, private dining room and restaurant space for the SMERF or Social markets. We are looking for an experienced sales manager to promote the hotel and deliver excellent service, quality, and value to every customer, every time.
Our candidate must display a good working knowledge of the different markets within this segment and the ability to identify and effectively react to major revenue opportunities. Must posses strong solicitation/negotiation skills and the ability to work well within a team. In addition to outside sales calls duties would also include phone solicitation and site inspections to generate new business while working with the operations team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
Strong organization and computer skills required.
