HPN Global is seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting. The company is privately held, well established but very entrepreneurial and growth oriented. The position will be responsible for and oversee the Finance, Accounting, HR and IT functions for one of the industry leaders in meetings procurement. The position is a senior member of the company leadership team.  Company culture is key at HPNG, the pace is fast but the environment is fun and entrepreneurial. Finance and Accounting Responsibilities


Responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting including general ledger, credit approval and accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.

Ongoing management of Company’s cash flow, oversee efficient collection of AR
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including licenses and permits, leases, contracts, legal agreements, and taxes.

Plan and implement accounting procedures and systems
Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
Prepare financial analysis operations and work with leadership to improve profitability.
Ensure that all balance sheet accounts and bank accounts are reconciled timely.
Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)

Capital expenditure management
Oversee and train accounting and office staff

Oversee IT and ongoing systems management

 

HR Responsibilities
 

Comply with all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment practices.
Maintain and monitor an effective employee relations program.  
Administer benefits program for employees.
Monitor Worker's Compensation benefits and costs.
Produce and process payroll for employee paychecks.

 

Strong Accounting system and financial analysis background required.

Degree in accounting and a minimum of 5-7 years accounting and a minimum of 2-years Human Resource experience. CPA designation preferred

Experience supervising staff, Enthusiastic and Outgoing, leadership skills 

Proven verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to interact and build rapport with employees and business associates.

 

The position is based in Scottsdale Arizona. Salary DOE. References required
