This position maintains balance of account maintenance and prospects new business for groups at FireSky Resort and Spa, a Kimpton hotel. This selling position has a focus on meeting conversion and establishes effective and profitable relationships with customers. This position is responsible for achieving both assigned market room night/revenue budget along with the top line revenue goals for the hotel. This position needs to be aware of hotels' competitive set and shared accounts. This position will incorporate marketing strategies into sales strategies, work with National Sales Team to communicate needs of the hotel, and keep up on industry trends to seek creative ways to infiltrate markets and accounts. This position will need to maintain accurate and thorough notes and traces for accounts in PMS and Delphi, complete call reports for prospecting results, complete production reports, participate in weekly sales meetings, and assist with annual marketing plan.
