The hotel's 335 well appointed large guestrooms include 41 elegant suites. Dining options include the Café du Parc, a popular French bistro with seasonal outdoor seating, and the Occidental Grill & Seafood, traditional Afternoon Tea in Peacock Alley, the classic Round Robin Bar and 24 hour Private In-Room Dining. There is over 20,000 square feet of Conference and Banquet space and the hotel hosts events ranging from intimate meetings to luxurious weddings. This challenging position has overall responsibility for oversight of the Accounting operation for a cluster of hotels under the guidance of the Area Director, Hotel Finance. Responsibilities include assisting in the management of day-to-day operations and assignments of Accounting staff, plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule/assign work and managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, General Ledger reporting, and cash handling functions for the hotel. You will prepare financial analysis of hotel operations including variance explanation and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals and assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and reporting.
This role develops an implement financial control procedures and systems; maintain documents for audits of hotel accounts, ensure compliance with government regulations, federal, state and local laws. Independently comply with record retention requirements. You will assist with the distribution of forecast information as an up to date management tool for operating departments and assists with ensuring all accounts are reconciled on monthly basis, review and approve those reconciliation's. You may process payroll or verify payroll dollars and reports in a decentralized environment.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent and 2+ years in hotel accounting or audit with experience in a supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. ACPA is preferred and you may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
