Motor Coach Driver

Alaskan Denali Travel  is looking for a highly energetic customer service oriented Motor Coach Driver to operate our Anchorage Denali Express motor coach service during the 2013 summer season.

Essential Functions:

1. A Motor Coach Driver works independently, with minimal direct supervision
2. The candidate must be able operate motor coach to transport passengers between Anchorage and Denali.
3. Candidate will provide passengers with an interpretative talk about the area along the way, as well as with information on fares, schedules and stops.
4. Interacts and responds to passenger requests and situations in a friendly, professional and courtesy manner
5. Conducts routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe vehicle operation.
6. May assist passengers boarding, exiting the vehicle and loading/unloading passenger baggage
7. The Motor Coach Driver will report delays, mechanical problems and accidents, to the appropriate supervisor
8. Candidate must be able to direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures, deal with public, complete logbooks and reports, deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts quickly and peacefully.
9. Serves as the primary contact and representative of Alaska Denali Cabins during all customer interaction.
10. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

NOTE: Motor Coach Driver will have to arrange his/her own housing in Anchorage Alaska.

• Class “B” CDL
• Passenger and Air Brake Endorsement
• Two years of prior commercial driving experience/
• Clean driving record
• CPR & First Aid certifications
• Posses excellent customer service skills
• Present a professional image, clean cut and well groomed.
