Maintenance Worker - Lodge

Alaska Denali Travel is looking for an experience Maintenance Worker to join our Denali Cabins Team during the 2013 Summer Season.

Essential Functions:

1. The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Relief is to provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times by keeping the facilities operating at their best.
2. Responsible for the maintenance and continued improvements of the facility as well as maintenance of the vehicles and equipment, including food service equipment.
3. Using knowledge of generators, water systems, septic systems, propane and/or diesel heating systems, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.
4. Manipulate/use hand & power tools, use/read/interpret measuring and metering devices read and interpret blue prints, schematics, specifications, and operating instructions.
5. Provide routine and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
6. Operate motor vehicles, as required.
7. Train, coordinate, and schedule activities of additional maintenance employees, as assigned by supervisor.
8. Inventory and order maintenance supplies and equipment in consultation with General Site Manager and President.
9. Able to move and lift supplies, equipment and tools weighing 50 pounds or more.
10. Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.

• Two years of maintenance work experience in similar positions.
