Bartender Prey Restaurant

Alaska Denali Travel is looking for a highly energetic experienced Bartender to join our Prey Bar & Eatery Team in Denali Park during the 2013 Summer Season.

Essential Functions:

1. The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times. 
2. Greeting guests, mixing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with appropriate garnishes.
3. Record all sales, collect money, operate a point-of-sale system, and follow all Restaurant cash handling procedures.
4. Taking inventory, stocking, and arranging beverage supplies and glassware to create attractive displays.
5. Assist Restaurant Manager and servers as needed.
6. Perform basic cabin cleaning / vacuuming.
7. In addition to daily sanitation, complete weekly and monthly deep cleaning schedule.
8. Able to move and lift supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
9. Must have current TAMS card and State of Alaska Food Workers Card. 
10. Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment and follow all HACCP and applicable food regulatory rules and procedures. 
11. Implementation of safety and sanitation practices as required by AK DEC and the ADT. 
12. Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.

• 2 years of experience
• Excellent knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixed drinks
• Valid TAMS and State of Alaska Food Workers Card
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends and Holidays
• Working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation procedures
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Must be at least 21 years old
