WEDDING SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER NEEDED!
Entertainment Cruises and its subsidiaries, Odyssey & Spirit Cruises are the nation's largest dining cruise company. We are located in America's most exciting port cities - Washington DC, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, and Norfolk, VA. We specialize in lunch and dinner cruises and host special occasions and corporate events. Our Washington DC operation is one of the finest in the fleet boasting 5 dining vessels including Odyssey III, The Spirit of Washington, The Spirit of Mount Vernon, the National Elite, and the Capital Elite.
We have an opening for a Sales Account Manager, specializing in the Wedding Market. You will execute the sales plan for the assigned market segment and sub-segments, maximizing revenue generation from that territory.
Some Essential Job Functions:
- Meets and exceeds wedding sales targets by responding to RFP's, converting inbound business, networking and consistent follow through
- Builds relationships with wedding planners, vendors and local hotels
- Writes proposals and puts together competitive wedding packages
- Gives weekly ship tours during the week and on weekends to potential customers
- Performs pre-cruise calls with guests to confirm final counts and event details.
- Willing to work a Tuesday- Saturday schedule or something similar
- Works with Food and Beverage department productively to ensure seamless execution
If you possess the following, then we want to hear from you:
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience
- Must have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Must have a passion for weddings
- Strong presentation and oral skills
