Sales Manager

The responsibility of a Sales Manager is to build and maintain client relationships, uncover new business, and strive to meet or exceed hotel revenue goals.

• Proactive hotel sales experience preferred
• Previous experience with HSP, MARSHA, and FOSSE is preferred
• Passion for business development through direct sales
• Ability to create loyal client relationships and ask for the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative thinking, positive attitude, driven to succeed, self-motivated
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent guest service skills for both internal and external customers
• Willing to be involved in the community and local events
• Ability to meet or exceed required sales call goals for the position
• Ability to work weekends as Manager on Duty
• Outstanding organizational skills and understanding of Sales procedures, including group room management
• Commitment to growing rates and market share in this high demand market
