GROUP SALES COORDINATOR (Full-time)

Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, four-diamond upscale hotel in Downtown Chicago, is looking for a Group Sales Coordinator to provide outstanding customer service.

The Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the resources of the Group Sales team; fielding incoming calls and take accurate messages Process letters, memos, minutes, reports, contracts and all requested documents. Create, distribute, and follow-up on reservations requested by sales department for VIPs, travel agents, site inspections, etc.  Coordinate and participate in special projects including, but not limited to mailings, telemarketing, data entry, etc… Ensure accurate information is maintained in hotel sales systems.  Create and maintain filing systems for departmental records, reports, etc.

Must have outstanding communication and guest services skills.

Proactive in complying with guest request, ability to solve guest problems, and use all office equipment.

Proficient in Microsoft office with excellent written communication skills.   

Related experience and knowledge of Opera & Delphi strongly preferred.
