Restaurant Lead

Visitors to the new American Girl store will find the complete assortment of the company's popular historical and contemporary dolls, along with doll outfits, accessories, girl-sized clothing, and a variety of best-selling American Girl books. In addition, American Girl fans will be able to enjoy a meal and a delicious dessert or celebrate a birthday in the store's fun and casual Bistro or treat their dolls to a new 'do in the popular Doll Hair Salon.

The talents of many individuals are needed in order to make a girl's visit to American Girl a special one. We are currently recruiting for Restaurant & Kitchen Leads:

Oversee the dining room. Respond to guests special requests. Use good judgment to independently identify and resolve customer concerns.
' Train and guide all store associates. Provide balanced feedback and support to associates with a focus on the development of sales, customer service, and communication skills.
' Independently open and close the restaurant.
' Deliver exceptional and engaging service and ensure an excellent guest experience at American Girl. Be a role model for all restaurant team members.
' Support the restaurant manager in all business functions including, but not limited to supply inventory management, business analysis, and staff schedule preparation.
' Execute all job functions in accordance with established American Girl processes and policies.

Requirements:
' High School Education is required and undergraduate degree in 4-year College is preferred.
' At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in a high volume restaurant is preferred.
' Must enjoy working with children and possess a warm and friendly demeanor.
' Proven ability to successfully communicate with both children and adults.
' Well-developed computer skills essential; must be a skilled user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
' Work schedule requires evening and weekend work.
