Dining Room Manager

The Lake Forest Club is currently seeking to fill its Dining Room Manager's position.  The is a year-round, full-time (40+ hours), salaried position.  The DR Mgr reports directly to the GM and will be responsible for staffing for wait staff and bartenders for the a la carte dining and special events.  

-work with the Dining Committee, GM, and Executive Chef to foster a quality and consistent dining experience for our members and guests.

-work with the above to create and maintain a comprehensive training program for the wait staff and bartenders to include the use of the POS system, a "runner-based" delivery system, and additional service amenities. 

-meet with the Executive Chef weekly to provide membership feedback to promote and ensure the quality and timeliness of the food service and menu items.

-hire, train, schedule, supervise, and actively review all wait staff and bartenders.

-hire a specific individual to be your assistant, designated to fill your role as supervisor in your absence. 

-coordinate with the GM to ensure that each event is properly staffed.

-maintain a current inventory of all flatware, plates, glassware, and supplies for the dining room.
