The owner of the prestigious and highly acclaimed Cibolo Creek Ranch is seeking an experienced General Manager to be responsible for all hospitality and general property operations of this unique and high end guest ranch. The position manages a staff of 25 hospitality, kitchen and property personnel. Significant sales and marketing responsibilities aimed at continued growth and development are also an important part of the responsibility. Irregular and sometimes long hours plus weekends can be expected. Ideally, this opportunity would be attractive to a couple where at least one of the family is a hospitality professional and the spouse might be interested in considering some type of appropriate employment in the operation. Only candidates who possess the following experience and credentials will be given serious consideration. A minimum of twenty years of progressively responsible hospitality experience with at least five years of general management experience at a resort, with upscale boutique experience preferred. Must have strong sales and marketing experience and be familiar with all aspects of running a high profile hospitality operation. Stable employment history is important. Other necessary qualities include: sound management and financial skills, being well organized and an expert at multi-tasking. This is a remote location and candidates need to be comfortable with living away from a town of any size and enjoy the outdoors. Due to the remoteness, this would not be an appropriate environment for anyone with infant or school age children.
