The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge/Hinsdale is currently seeking an energetic, professional and experienced SALES MANAGER for our Marriott hotel located just 18 miles outside Downtown Chicago near the interchange of I-55 & I-294.

The Sales Manager should have the ability to uncover, develop and acquire new business sources through outside sales calls, site visits, networking opportunities, telephone solicitations, etc.

The Sales Manager should be able to further develop and grow the business volume produced by existing accounts, and to nurture those relationships to ensure that the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge/Hinsdale is there "Hotel of Choice."

The ideal candidate will have hotel sales experience and a proven track record for uncovering new sales opportunities and shifting market share. A go-getter sales person who is passionate about outside sales and prospecting for new business. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency. Additionally, this individual will possess 1-2 years of proven experience in Sales with emphasis on outside sales. This person must be well organized, a self-starter, and team player that is results driven. This position which reports to the General Manager presents tremendous opportunities for growth either within the hotel or other brands throughout our organization.

EXPERIENCED SALESPERSON. PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT; PASSION FOR PROSPECTING AND OUTSIDE SALES; EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS, ABILITY TO THINK CREATIVELY; EXCEPTIONAL CLOSER.

1-2 years current experience in Sales.
MUST have a proven OUTSIDE SALES record.
MUST be well organized, with client follow-up.
MUST be a self starter.
