The Hilton Charlotte Center City is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to book and service groups and conferences within assigned markets with less than 50 rooms peak night.
The Hilton Charlotte Center City is a premiere Four Diamond full service property in the heart of Uptown Charlotte featuring 400 state-of-the-art guestrooms and over 35,000 sq. feet of contemporary meeting space.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Manager will include:
Booking and contracting groups, meetings and conferences and providing related client services, including servicing groups. The Sales Manager will achieve sales booking goals and complete all sales procedures, including prospecting for new business, creating and customizing group proposals & contracts, preparing and conducting site inspections with potential clients and host event planners as needed to review group requirements. The Sales Manager's market deployment will consist of a combination of geographic territories and specific industry markets.
Candidates for this opportunity should have a minimum of 3 years Sales experience at a hotel of similar size and quality - 4-Diamond rating, 300 guestrooms or higher and at least 25,000 sq. ft of space.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in achieving established sales goals and providing excellent service to clients.
