Are you an experienced Chief Engineer looking to join a vibrant property in the heart of one the Southeast's most exciting cities?
The Hilton Charlotte Center City, a 4-Diamond upscale full-service property, featuring 400 state of the art guestrooms and modern meeting and banquet space is located in the heart of Center City Charlotte.
- Position will be responsible for leading the Engineering team and managing of all related functions.
- Update and maintain engineering policies, procedures, work orders, projects, upgrades & repairs.
- Monitor vendors to assure quality, delivery, warranties, exchanges, upgrades, etc. are consistently utilized.
- Maintain, oversee and track results of the preventive maintenance programs
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing
- Proficient working with chillers, cooling towers, control systems, water systems, boilers, refrigeration, compressors, etc.
- Work closely with contractors on repairs and capital projects.
- Obtain competitive bids for all supplies and work orders.
- Make cost evaluations on in-house repairs versus subcontractors
- Uphold and oversee safety, health and sanitation policies and procedures at the property.
- Assist Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure Hilton brand standards are met at all times

Candidate must have minimum of 3 years of Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering experience at full-service hotel properties with minimum of 300 guestrooms and banquet/meeting facilities. Experience with major hotel brands preferred.
