Job Description

We're looking for a part-time night auditor to join our team.

The Responsibilities:
The Night Auditor is responsible for Front Desk procedures such checking in and out guests, answering phones, and providing concierge services, all with genuine warmth and professionalism. The Night Auditor is the manager on duty during the overnight shift, works with an overnight bellman/valet, and is responsible for assisting guests should any emergency arise.

The Night Auditor is also responsible for verifying that all Front Desk transactions are documented daily, as well as running several nightly reports, processing credit cards, turning over the date in the Property Management System, and entering a little data into an Excel worksheet.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be reliable, ethical, and able to complete tasks autonomously. Good judgment and a cool head are essential. Candidates must also pass a background test and drug screening. Computer skills and people skills are essential. Experience with Excel, WinAI/Pegasus, and the Epitome Enterprise Solutions programs is a great plus! Previous night audit or hotel experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. What's most important is personality, and the desire to meet and exceed our guests' expectations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Operating Otto Clerk, Data Capture, Telecheck Systems, and PBX. Must be accountable for balancing daily shift bank. Also must maintain organization image by demonstrating quality service at all times.
