Marketing Manager

Position Description

The Marketing Manager is a key member of the sales & marketing team, responsible for the support of a wide-range of print and digital marketing initiatives, both local and with the Hilton brand. This individual will lead the production and execution of paid search, SEO, email, and social media communications. This individual will also be responsible for digital marketing reporting and helping maintain the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort website initiatives. The ideal candidate is hotel and technology savvy and demonstrates the ability to deliver results in a fast paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute short and long term marketing strategies for our hotel.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on email, website, social media, search and other digital marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with 3rd party agencies to develop web content, banner ads and compelling paid search copy
  • Proactively work with the GM, Sales & Revenue team and Golf to successfully market the resort, as requested.
  • Report campaign performance to Director of Sales & Marketing and upper management
  • Help execute all aspects of Paid Search (Google/Bing/Yahoo), including structuring campaigns and ad groups, generating keyword lists and reviewing performance
  • Create and implement social media strategies and monitor social media presence
  • Create and post ads, as directed

Assist in other Marketing functions as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • 2-3 years online marketing experience in a B2C environment
  • Knowledge of web analytics
  • Experience managing Google AdWords, Microsoft adCenter and Yahoo Sponsored Search accounts
  • Understanding and participation in social media, including experience with Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Foursquare and other social media platforms
  • Self-starter, work with minimal oversight
  • Both strategic and tactical performer, both creative and analytical thinker
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • High level of creativity
  • Expertise in MS Office
