We have 368 newly renovated rooms and are currently seeking a dynamic, energetic and inspiring Sales Manager in our Corporate Market to join an exhilarating team. Our consideration is for an aggressive talented sales person that wants growth opportunities.

This beautiful hotel is in an ideal location for every market segment and is primed for a talented, experienced star in our Sales and Marketing department.

As a Corporate Group Sales Manager you are responsible for soliciting, negotiating and booking groups for the hotel to increase REVPAR and gain market share.  Key markets will be the Northeast, Midwest, and Illinois. Communication is the key to success here, both to our operations departments and to the group contacts.

In this position, you are eligible for a competitive salary, aggressive quarterly bonus incentive to include a great inter-company referral bonus plan, opportunity for growth and development and an exciting work environment.

Sales Managers will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain professional relationships with clients (decision makers, meeting planners and third parties) in order to penetrate group business opportunities;
  • Successfully maintain a high impact group account base with commensurate booking goal;
  • Achieve aggressive weekly sales activity regimen and quota;
  • Sell total hotel (guestrooms, meeting space, F&B, facilities, and outlets);
  • Draft proposals. letters and contracts.
  • Prospect all potential avenues for group business while maintaining a team focused cross sell approach by uncovering catering and transient opportunities as well;
  • Work closely with Convention Services/Catering Sales/ Reservations to ensure all contractual agreements with the customer have been met;
  • Assist Director of Sales/Marketing with group forecasting, group segment strategy, weekly and monthly STR review, and leading other Sales Department initiatives as needed.
  • Knowledge of competitive market a plus.
  • Understanding/ knowledge of computers(Delphi experience a plus)
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence.
  • Excellent time management skills.
