Assistant General Manager
Shaner has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant General Manager to join our team at our brand-new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Towanda, PA opening February-March 2013.
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for the successful operation and administration of all departments including front desk services, accounting and Human Resources procedures. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education, and training/experience that provides the required skills such as hiring and processing staff, writing schedules, assisting with payroll/accounting, handling employee relations and maintaining proper security of all cash funds. A minimum of two years experience and a college degree, or equivalent, is preferred. This position requires the ability to assist in the balancing of departments while focusing on providing an exceptional experience to every guest and maximizing profitability at the same time. We are seeking an energetic, service-oriented leader who can effectively direct, train, coach, motivate, engage and provide feedback to the staff, supervisors and managers on a daily basis in accordance with the standards of Shaner Hotels and Marriott.

- 2+ years of experience in a similar position, Marriott experience a plus
