Director of Sales

Hotel Equities is an extraordinary lodging company which provides award-winning service, management, development, and consulting for hotels throughout the country. Hotel Equities provides third party management and consulting services for well-known national hotel brands. We are currently seeking someone to join our team as the Director of Sales of the Hampton Inn Okeechobee in Florida. 

* Willingness and drive to secure new business, a proven track record of converting prospects into long term clients.

* Hands-on professional with a passion to motivate others and a willingness to personally demonstrate a successful method of selling beyond goals and expectations.

* Have knowledge and experience in writing, directing and executing marketing and action plans annually and quarterly.

* Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sale presentations to prospective clients. Internally promote the hotel's programs. Meet with and entertain clients, some of which will require travel.

* Excellent skills in team building, selecting talent, training, mentoring and developing a sales team and achieving goals

* Extensive experience in managing the daily operations, directing the effort, executing and exceeding weekly sales call goals, teleprospecting calls, hotel site tours and cold calls goals.

*Computer experience with a database program essential.

* Managing the sales effort through forecasting, budgeting and yield management to achieve and exceed top line goals.

* Drive revenues through new business opportunities and develop a strong customer base.

* Excellent communication skills to establish strong customer relationships.

* 3-5 years of hotel sales leadership experience, knowledge of local area a plus!
