• Working knowledge of all Hotel Operations.
• Posses advanced knowledge of building Management/Engineering.
• Able to Implement the department's Budget, Forecast. Consistently maintaining the Property to company's expectations.
• Able to Implement a Preventive Maintenance Program for the property as well as negotiate maintenance contracts for the property.
• Ensure the safety and satisfaction for all guests and staff.
• Develop and Implement all Emergencies and Contingency Programs: Ensure all equipment is well maintained, Conduct inspections and Fire Drills, ensure compliance with all California codes and regulations. Train all employees and maintain accurate records to protect the asset, guests and staff.
• Team Work Effort and Exceptional people skills. Friendly and helpful attitude to lead by example.
• On Call availability through weekends, evening and holidays in case of emergencies.
• Good record keeping abilities for work orders, parts orders, inventory, delivery and service follow up.

Requirements:

• To have knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Excellent Guests Service Skills.
• Ability to train and direct personnel.
• Ability to create budgets, monitor spending and control costs.
• Excellent in problem solving.
• Skilled using all tools, chemicals and products related to Maintenance Dept.
• Familiar with state Fire Codes, Fire Safety Plan and regulations.
• Hands on Engineer who can master any task to ensure smooth operation of the property.
