The Wildlife Conservation Society located at the Bronx Zoo is seeking a Sous Chef for its Catering and Events. The Sous chef will assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparation of menus and food service for catered events including maintaining superior standards for food quality, cost control, timeliness of service, kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance. The candidate must have 3 to 5 years off premise catering experience and culinary degree. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, have a valid driver's license and an ability to work days, nights and weekends. Candidate must have strong leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Experience with Event Master and SAP desired.
