Assistant General Manager

The Residence Inn San Francisco Airport San Mateo Hotel is an 159-suite upscale hotel that provides overnight hotel reservations in the San Mateo, California area. Conveniently located just 8 miles from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in the beautiful San Francisco Bay area, home of the Great America Theme Park, the hotel is easily accessible for all travelers to the San Francisco Airport San Mateo California area. Currently we are seeking a highly motivated individual with Assistant General Manager experience, preferably with limited-service or extended-stay hotels. Responsibilities include assisting the General Manager with duties such as driving sales, ensuring outstanding guest service and associate satisfaction as well as bottom-line results in a very entrepreneurial environment. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

* Minimum of 1 years experience as an AGM or FOM in the hotel industry REQUIRED.
* Management experience with the Residence Inn Brand and/or an upscale, extended-stay hotel brand a plus.
* Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
* Exceptional customer service skills required.
* Must possess strong computer skills.
* Excellent communication and presentations skills required.
* Must be flexible and willing to work evenings & weekends.
* Must be a leader, a driver, and bottom-line oriented.
