Restaurant Labor Specialist / Industrial Engineer
US - CO - Greenwood Village

Based at our Greenwood Village Home Office you will assist in the development and deployment of the labor model and labor management system, focusing on effectiveness and efficiency.

You will support the continuous maintenance and improvement of labor standards along with managing the implementation and validation of changes to the labor standards.

Other Duties Include:

Assist in establishing and maintaining operational methods and work standards.
Perform ad hoc what-if analysis to determine labor impact of proposed business changes, including menu, equipment platforms, guest service model, facility layout, workstation design and work methods.
Monitor business changes and determines when and if changes are necessary to the labor model and general labor management business processes to insure that the labor management system accurately reflects labor needs.
Analyze existing operations and proposes cost justified improvements to optimize workability with end-to-end solutions in mind.
Support multi-unit management team in identifying, diagnosing and remedying poor unit-level labor management performance, through exception reporting, ad hoc analysis, and action plan development/execution.
Identifying continuous process improvement opportunities at all levels of the organization that improve labor performance, while maintaining or improving customer satisfaction, food quality, team member satisfaction and profit growth.
Collaborate with testing process/department to ensure labor impact analysis is complete prior to decision making process moving forward.
Design and implement methods for labor process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
Develop and implement end-to-end processes for system administration and supports system maintenance on an ongoing basis.
Gather information from appropriate functions to maintain parameters related to labor model, including restaurant site variables, hours of operations, NRO status, menu rollout calendars, process improvement deployments, etc.
Provide process mapping and other related process documentation for project implementations and standardization.
Enter and analyze data to generate reports and presentations. Supports data requests, data collection, consolidation, validation and analysis. Creates presentations and documents under the direction of VP and Director.

Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in food service industry
Strong financial and analytical ability.
Strong knowledge of work measurement and work standards.
Very Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Access.
Well developed critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Strong and convincing communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well independently, anticipate needs and communicate with stakeholders.
Strong business vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.
