Exmoor Country Club is seeking a Catering and Events Manager. The 117 year old club is member-owned and both the clubhouse and golf course have gone through extensive renovations over the past 13 years. Gross revenues exceed $7 million and F&B sales of $2.7M. 

Exmoor Country Club is not only known for its exceptional golf course but also offers one of the best dining and social experiences in Chicago, IL. The clubhouse offers food service amenities including two A la Carte restaurants, large outdoor dining facilities, a new wine room and banquet space seating up to 250 guests.  Exmoor is known for having a reputation for creative and upscale adult parties, busy social calendar and outdoor spaces second to none.  The Club’s recreational facilities include eight tennis courts, four paddle courts, a curling rink and a pool area.

The Catering and Events Manager reports directly to the Clubhouse Manager and works closely with the Dining Room Manager, Ladies Locker Room Manager and Banquet Captain on all special events. He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day catering and event services planning and coordination. Develop event contracts (BEO's) for & oversee all administrative and operational aspects of preparing and selling events and catered parties to members and their sponsored guests. He or she will be creative, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be a “HANDS-ON” teammate while helping take the team to the next level. Candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized and a team player. The successful candidate will set a high standard of professionalism while empowering others to be successful and supportive of the overall operation. The ideal candidate will have a catering background with a passion for wine, food and excellent service. He or she will consistently strive for higher levels of service through staff training and leadership, with the primary goal of exceeding member and guest expectations. They will also be able to properly prioritize the high level of membership requests and needs in a professional manner at all times. The ideal candidate will possess these experiences, a hospitality degree and 2-3 years’ experience.
