Chuck's Manufacturing is an American restaurant and cocktail hub that provides a daytime playground for the professionally social and a go-to after-hours destination for Chicago sophisticates.  An expansive bar with built-in DJ booth and video wall and a main dining room mixed with lounge and traditional seating lend themselves to a unique dining experience.

The Chef de Cuisine will lead and oversee all culinary aspects for the restaurant, hotel lounge and In Room Dining and will assume complete responsibility for the kitchen as necessary.  The Chef de Cuisine will ensure that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the hotel/restaurant's business plan and brand standards.  This position reports to the Hotel Executive Chef.   

Minimum two years successful experience in a Chef role at a high volume, upscale restaurant.

Demonstrated culinary creativity (American, Contemporary American or similar cuisine) with an understanding of current culinary and beverage trends.

Proven ability to effectively lead and train a diverse workforce.

Ability to create and implement standards and procedures.

Strong knowledge of P&L, food and labor costs as well as expense controls, budget preparation.

Food purchasing experience with strong vendor relationships.

Dynamic personality with understanding of constant floor presence and a hands-on approach.

Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized institution a plus.

Some hotel culinary experience preferred.
