CULINAIRE, a dynamic, privately-owned food and beverage management company headquartered in Texas, is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Director for the Embassy Suites Crabtree in Raleigh.   This hotel has 225 guest suites, 3200  sq. ft. of banquet space along with one restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.   This position reports to CULINAIRE’s Regional  VP of Operations.

As  Food and Beverage Director  you must be able to perform effectively in each of these areas:

  • Achieving profitable and effective functioning of the restaurant, lounge, room service, comp breakfast and banquets.
  • Proactively managing all aspects of financial measurement and operations including budget preparation, food and labor cost control and inventory control
  • Utilizing effective employee management, team building and positive staff communications
  • Organizing and directing the daily activities of the operation to elevate high standards in quality, customer service and merchandising

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 4 years management experience in a hotel food and beverage environment
  • Experience with and good understanding of financial and operational management of a hotel food and beverage operation
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Stable work history and demonstrated achievement in progressively more responsible positions in hotel food and beverage operations along with strong, supportive employment references
  • A degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management is preferred
